I would love to have a strong purpose and desire to see projects through. I have ambitions to push towards goals but sometimes require direction given to me when I am stuck on which way to go. When I have a project I love to get stuck in and will work hard to achieve the desired aims. I enjoy having projects with a timeline, where I can work for several weeks or months with an end goal, rather than endless day to day activities which are the same. Where I have responsibilities, I am eager to succeed and see my work flourish. I enjoy working both as a team and individually. My ideal scenario would be small teams where each individual has their own input as part of a larger picture. I want to enjoy my work and be passionate so that everyday is an exciting challenge and that being at work is an enticing prospect when waking up in the morning.

In my thesis, I found the critical conditions for which the failure mode of adiabatic shear develops in the magnesium alloy AZ31. I want to learn more about mechanical engineering, specifically solid mechanics, structures or materials and to use my knowledge to develop sustainable solutions for future products.
